On Tuesday, September 15th, 2009, $16,000 in academic scholarships will be awarded to two minority students attending LIM College in Fall 2009.

The Award is presented in front of an audience of some 600 Luxury Fashion industry executives in NYC. The JarLuxe Fashionlanthropic Award, as the pioneer of its kind-is the most highly distinct accolade in luxury fashion. This annual award is presented to a highly distinguished Fashion Designer who immeasurably gives in the arena of charity.

The Honoree: Maggie Norris CFDA Member Maggie Norris Couture designs elegantly drape the socialite, including Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Kiera Chaplin, & First Lady Michelle Obama. Maggie Norris Couture has graced the Elite Fashion Magazines of the world, including Vogue and Vanity Fair. Maggie, a former Senior Director of Women’s Collection for Ralph Lauren, went on as Creative Director for Mondi in Europe. Thereafter, Maggie took her knowledge of fashion, fine-tuned wit with her incomparable taste and expertise in creating Maggie Norris Couture.
